Our Fully Approved Workshop Facility


South Lincs Leisure is a NCC Approved Workshop – This means we are fully qualified to service all makes
of caravan and motor homes. The National Caravan Council check annually our facilities, equipment and
technician’s qualifications. Having your caravan serviced at an NCC Approved workshop is essential to
validate your manufacturer’s warranty.


We Always Give Priority to Our Own Customers
We have to allocate a proportionate amount of time for caravan servicing but our main priority is the
preparation of sold caravans. Our extremely busy workshop facility has to cope with the seasonal
demands for servicing, sales preparation and warranty provision. This requires that we prioritise our
own customers during the caravan peak season.

Booking A Caravan Service
Please book early! – The workshop Diary gets fully booked early in the year – especially from February
through to June.
We offer a ‘same day service’ asking you to drop off your caravan before 9.30 am and collect it again
later in the day. We do not offer servicing over weekends or on Bank Holidays.
Customers should make sure their caravan is clear in all areas that the technicians need to access for the
damp test. Also you may need to provide your service book and to make sure any lock nut keys are with
the unit when it is dropped off.

What Happens When A Unit is Sold?
Customers can be assured that we take the time to cover every aspect and detail of the ‘Caravan Sales
Order’. From this point of sale a team of staff are involved in a process to make sure we provide the
ultimate customer service.
Administration, Workshop Technicians, Valetors, Accessory shop and handover staff all co-ordinate to
make sure your collection day is an enjoyable and informative event.


The Workshop Pre Delivery Inspection (P.D.I.)

The majority of our workshop Diary involves sales preparation work including our own detailed 114
point P.D.I.
All caravans sold are booked into the workshop for a P.D.I. which thoroughly checks though all the
aspects of the caravan’s running gear and appliances. It also includes the vital gas pressure and damp
tests. This insures that all our buyers are guaranteed an exclusive and thorough preparation of their unit
before collection.


The P.D.I. workshop time also extends to satisfying customer snag lists and fitting accessories :- motor
movers, Air Con units, Bike Racks, Solar Panels, Wi-Fi Units, TV Brackets & Aerials, SAT Dishes, BBQ
points, Extra 240v sockets & USB points etc.
We offer a comprehensive list of options to customise your caravan!

Valeting & Hand-over
Once the unit has cleared the workshop our specialist valeters clean the interior & exterior.
This is described as a ‘detailed’ clean so that unit is presented to the customer in pristine condition.
